Ingrid Horrocks holds a PhD from Princeton University and is Associate Professor in Creative Writing and English at Massey University, Wellington. Her publications include Women Wanderers and the Writing of Mobility, 1784-1814 (Cambridge University Press, 2017), and Broadview Press editions of Mary Wollstonecraft’s Letters written during a Short Residence in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark and, with Claire Knowles, Charlotte Smith: Major Poetic Works. She is also the author of two collections of poetry and a genre-bending travel book, Travelling with Augusta, 1835 and 1999, which is part memoir, part love story, past history of women’s travel.
