Nora Crook, Professor Emerita of English, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, https://www.aru.ac.uk, is Jamaican by birth and education and an alumna of  Newnham College, Cambridge University. She has published widely on topics connected with Romanticism, specializing in the Shelleys. She is the general editor of the standard edition of Mary Shelley’s novels and selected works (1997,  2002) and is currently a co-general editor of the Hopkins Press Complete Poetry of Percy Bysshe Shelley (2000––, in progress).
