Karen Green is a Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne and is the author of many articles and books including, The Woman of Reason, feminism, humanism, and political thought (Polity, 1995), A History of Women’s Political Thought in Europe, 1700-1800 (Cambridge University Press, 2014), A History of Women’s Political Thought in Europe, 1400-1700, with Jacqueline Broad (Cambridge University Press, 2009), Catharine Macaulay’s Republican Enlightenment (Routledge, 2020), Joan of Arc and Christine de Pizan’s Ditié (Lexington, 2021), and Simone de Beauvoir (Cambridge, 2022).
