Dr Johanna Strong is an independent scholar based in Essex, UK, where she also works as a secondary school teacher. She has previously published a chapter in the award-winning Mary I in Writing (edited by Jessica S. Hower and Valerie Schutte) and has had a variety of book, exhibition, and conference reviews published in the Royal Studies Journal and the Court Historian. She is currently co-editing a Royal Studies Journal cluster with Amy Saunders, due for publication in December 2024.
