Dominique Lear is a writer born in Mexico City. She received her B.A. in Literature and History from NYU Abu Dhabi. She is working on a biographical study of Carmen Balcells. Her writing and thinking has been featured in Latin American Literature Today and Expertos de Sillón, and she has spoken at the Feria del Libro Guadalajara and Stanford University. She lives in New York City.
