Ashanti K. Williams is a student at The New School with a major in history and a minor in design studies. Previously she studied liberal arts at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell with concentrations in history and Asian studies and a minor in racial and ethnic theory. Well versed in gender theory and queer theory, she primarily focuses on analyzing pop culture through intersectional theory while placing it in a historical context.
